Bike and swim to Klingnauer Stausee, onward to Flachsee, return to Türlersee
Distance: 111 km. Day 2 a well-deserved rest day.
To Greifensee and Pfäffikersee via ferry across Zürichsee.
Then back again.
98km and a few hills. Ok, more than a few. And after that, day 4 is a rest day.
Start at Frauenfeld, scenic route to Untersee and on to a refreshing dip in Bodensee.
Then back again. A mere 69 km on the bike.
... it's time for mountain bikes. Feusisberg start and a still-chilly Sihlsee.
After 32km and 700m total vertical climbing, time to make day 7 a rest day.
Through the historic site of the "Schlacht am Morgarten". Back to road bikes and a dip in three lakes, including a swim to the island of Schwanau.
61km on the road and over 700m of climbing.
To Wägitalersee. 62km on the road, but 1,390m of climbing!
Aeugst am Albis to Hallwilersee and Baldeggersee. There to not-so-deeply dip. Again over 1200m of climbing.
Round trip from Oberägeri in mountain bikes. 26km and over 800m elevation gain, before a swim in the Ägerisee.
Into Ticino. 70km distance and 1,000m elevation gain. Bellinzona to Lago di Vogorno, back to Maggiore, finishing in Lugano.
A 79km ride in the direction of Lucerne. Swimming in two lakes: the Rotsee and the Vierwaldstättersee.
Onward to the Klöntalersee. Short but steep.
Walensee and Zurichsee and a little road biking.
Sempachersee and Mauensee, that's the 15th and 80th largest lakes in Switzerland, respectively. Of course.
Sarnensee and Lungernsee. 77km and 523m of climbing.
Alte Aare and Bielersee, and another 75km under the wheels.
